Melissa’s analytical and collaborative approach promote finance initiatives that drive productivity, innovation and growth.

As Vice President of Finance, Melissa oversees all financial activities for the company including business planning, forecasting, banking, working capital management, and accounting functions. She focuses on assessing risk, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with project teams to meet company goals and objectives.

Prior to joining The Superior Group, Melissa spent 12 years in various strategic accounting and finance roles in specialty retail. She began her career in public accounting for a regional firm where she provided audit, assurance and tax services for closely held businesses, non-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans. Melissa earned her CPA license in 2006 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University in 2004.

Outside of work, Melissa spends most of her time chasing her two energetic toddlers around. She also enjoys traveling with her husband, listening to true crime podcasts, and has a love/hate relationship with running.
