Bob’s drive and care for our field operations team is evident and for us – it’s where things truly happen – out in the field.

Inspired by his dad who worked in construction, Bob decided the electrical apprenticeship program was the perfect opportunity for him to grow in this career and be able to work with his hands on a daily basis. After his first assignment with Superior in 1978, he recognized that the employees had an unmatched commitment compared to others in the industry, and knew he had found the company that matched his personal values with his professional drive.

Hard working, dedicated to the team and to mentoring younger employees, he is thoughtful about his decisions. Bob quickly earned the trust of his coworkers, allowing him to make smart evaluations on-the-spot to immediately address client needs. With a drive centered on the notion that our success relies on the success of our clients, Bob’s career progressed from Apprentice Electrician to Senior Vice President.

In his current position, Bob oversees all aspects of Field Operations across the United States focusing on safety, quality, and productivity as well as developing the next generation of leaders.

Outside of work, Bob is actively involved in the community serving both on his school board and being a trustee at Tree of Life Christian Schools, serving on the property committee for The Salvation Army, coaching little league baseball, and traveling with his family.
